Every blog needs a first post. It’s the law. I didn’t make the rules, I just suffer under them. Also, today’s my birthday, so this is my gift to myself. A blog post. That nobody asked for. You’re welcome, me.
Why does this blog exist
Good question. I already forgot.
Something about writing things down so I stop re-googling the same stuff every three months. Or maybe I just wanted to own a three-letter domain and needed to justify the expense :). Either way, here we are.
What to expect
Honestly? No idea. Probably some combo of:
- Things I learned the hard way so you don’t have to
- Rants about tools that I’ll eventually apologize for
- Notes to future me that past me will be grateful for (this is cope - past me never reads these)
- The occasional hot take that ages like milk
The “Hello World” tradition
Every programmer’s first program is print("Hello World"). It’s a rite of passage. A declaration to the universe that you have no idea what you’re doing but you’re going to do it anyway.
This post is that, but with more words and less purpose.
Anyway
Welcome to nkh.do. Bookmark it, don’t bookmark it, it’s your life. I’ll be here, writing stuff into the void.
See you around. Or don’t. I’m a blog post, I can’t see you.
